I would not suggest skype on a dial up connection anyway and if access technology is an issue I would stay well away from aol at all costs. thinking about it, I would stay away from AOL altogether. There is far too much extra software that they force upon you such as an antispam and antiadware program that is not particularly effective, an aol browser and the like.

Hi all, Sorry for the cross posting, but what are your opinions on how calling on Skype works when connected using AOL UK's dial-up service. Since they're quite stable I shouldn't have any noticeable problems, maybe a few seconds delay, but that's all, but what are your good and bad experiences. I'm planning to buy a mike some time soon, but would like to know your thoughts in advance. Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you.
