Isn't that the one I gave originally?

Hi,
Yes, I checked with Sky and you can use voice control on the 1TB box as well.

All,
I have a Sky touch Control and use it on my 1TB unit without issue. I bought it
from Sky.
When my current subscription is due for renewal, I will probably upgrade to a
2TB unit if the cost is right.
Regards, John.

Hi,
It is not a talking remote, you can talk to it, but it doesn?t talk to you.
It is called the Sky Touch Remote, and you buy it from guess where? Sky
directly.
It probably only works with the 2TB box, as John Paton said the other day.
All the best

Hi Steve.
Where do I purchase this talking remote and is it only useable with the larger
capacity more expensive Sky Q box?
It took me someone showing me to realise that now on the phone, at least with
iPhone, that the button Hamburger has been replaced with Fast Forward.

Subject: [access-uk] Sky Q and what you can do with your voice
Hi all,
I was checking out the latest firmware of Sky Q today for various unrelated
reasons, and I came across a list of voice commands you can issue, if you have
the touch remote.
Here it is:-
https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/How-to/Complete-list-of-Voice-Control-commands-for-Sky-Q/ba-p/2774562
I?ve been using voice commands for some time, but I didn?t realise there were
so many. You can even turn on and off audio description with it.
I also didn?t realise you can go to a channel number as well as name. If you
say Go To Channel 898, it will go straight there. Conversely, if you don?t
know the channel number, you can say Go To ITV HD and it will.
Best of all, I can say Skip Three Minutes, and I usually avoid commercial
breaks.
I know Sky haven?t done anything about a talking box, but I have to applaud
them, for all these voice commands.
I?m glad I have Sky Q.
All the best
Steve
