well I would strongly recommend Tesco, either the blind-friendly version of
the site or the main site. I have successfully used Tesco Direct, which I
think is also very easy to use. The Sainsburys and Asda sites are also
quite good too. I find boots a bit of a pain, but I haven't used all that
many shopping sites other than the ones I have mentioned here.

Subject: [access-uk] Shopping On-Line

Hello list,

At our local blind centre we teach use of computers with screen-readers.
There are sighted teachers and I act as a resource for use of Window-eyes
and other technical issues with the PCs.

The teacher has asked me to let her know which is a good on-line shopping
site for her to use to show the students how to go abut shopping tasks.

I think that what is meant is standard household shopping, as I don't use
such sites and only use on-line shops for buying techie stuff I would be
grateful if people on the list might recommend some good shopping sites for
them to look at.

Many thanks in advance.

 Regards, John
