Hi Jeff.
Take a look at the Canon LiDe range, which start from about £40. They’re USB
powered, so very easy to connect and disconnect from your computer and are plug
and play, with easy one-touch buttons on the front for most common scanning
applications. They are recommended by Kurzweil and Docuscan and work well with
both as the driver interface is fully accessible to screen readers.
All the best, Ibrahim.

Scanners again, sorry Guys Sorry about this but I am very confused.
I am looking for a neat, small that is, as running out of surfaces again.
I want it to:
1. quickly read a document using Kurzweil.
2. scan and then send image to a printer, cutting out need for a photo copier.
3. simple to use for a totally blind person, particularly a thick one like
myself.
I am also going to buy a monochrome laser printer separately.
the scanner I am going to put on the top of the printer.
Going crazy here.
I will use the scanner daily but not heavily.
Sorry to drag you back over old ground, but I think my brain is shrinking.
Jeff
