[access-uk] STATUS LINE NOT READING CORRECTLY

Hi, A friend is running Windows 7 Home Premium, JFW 12, Office 2003, and
OpenBook 9.
Just recently, pressing insert +number pad 3 no longer announces the number
of Outlook messages in Outlook, or the number of pages processed in
OpenBook.
I can't see anything obviously wrong with his settings, but would welcome
any thoughts.
