As an additional tip i wooed recommend reserving the SSD purely for the OS and if possible attached a separate regular drive for storing data, this is because solid state drives are significantly faster than mechanical drives

Hi. Yep it shouldn't need defragging. There aren't really any setting that need enabling that I can think of off hand. Windows usually enables the options it needs when you install an SSD.

Cheers,

Mo.

    Good morning all,

I have just installed new SSD in my PC.  I was wondering if there
are any settings that I should change, or, software I should
install to ensure the best maintenance and performance of the SSD?

    Using windows 10 pro 64bit
