Fortunately I didn't fall victim, I think, to the full onslaught of spam Plusnet warned us of. Seemingly, someone had probably breached the passwords of several email accounts and we were advised to change our passwords. I find the filter system they've adopted whereby you can identify messages as spam that aren't flagged up as such, and vice versa, very good, and it seems to keep the stuff within reasonlable limits. Trace ----- Original Message ----- From: Dave Taylor Hi, Interestingly, following that same incident, my spam has gone to virtually 0. It might be worth considering setting up a new email address and a postmaster box so they can deliver their messages to you, and black holing your default box and deleting your old one. Cheers Dave ----- Original Message ----- From: Richard Godfrey-McKay Following an incident at Plusnet, I've been getting loads of spam like many others. I've turned the Plusnet filter off, and isolate the spam in a "crap" folder. I've been adding these people to my "block senders list" but am wondering if there's any point, as the spam still keeps coming. Any advice welcome.
