I would also say that using foam could be slightly cumbersome as it would be 
rather springy, so a piece of wood might be better.  I have my laptop external 
keyboard and my desktop keyboard positioned on wooden plinths as it hurts my 
wrists to type at an angle where the keyboard is lower than the display.

Sorry if this is a little naive but does anyone know where I might buy or 
scrounge a piece of compressed foam around two or three centimetres thick and 
large enough to hold my Apple wireless keyboard which I need to raise above the 
level of my Braille Edge display?
