I can remember changing the voice from female to male by downloading it and
installing using the  USB port, but it was a long time ago now!

Gordon - yes, I did that to try for an upgrade of the firmware, and when the

found new hardware wizard came up, I got that dreaded message about 
inserting the cd that came with the device, to install software--don't 
recall a cd coming with the Sonus, if it did, it's long been misplaced!

Looking at the Pure website, it seems anyway, the they're still on version 
1.1 of the firmware! -
