Agreed, but for a day, maybe two, not ten days?
All the best

Hi.
Come on people, we are talking about the death of our head of state and our new
king's accession to the throne. Whether you care for them or not, our royal
family is at the very fabric of our national identity, not to mention the
identities of British colonies in overseas territories. The queen has probably
been alive longer than many of us on this list and whilst we'll probably see a
new king in our lifetime, it's not at all unreasonable to be respectful of her
passing.
All the best, Ibrahim.

Steve,how right you are.
It seems everything comes to a halt just for one person.
Life goes on but you would think otherwise according to the rest of the world.
I for one will be doing other things on Monday.
By the way,Planet rock are playing as usual.

The way I see it is that these cancellations and
postponements are just a way of the various orgaisations showing respect.
Guide Dogs, for example, are putting all fundraising events on hold for ten
days, a local fete has been re-scheduled so why shouldn’t football games be
postponed – it is only a ggggame after all!
