Hi,
Most players will access around 250 tracks though this will depend on the
file length.

You don't have to put all the files in the route, you can organise them into
folders which will influence the order tracks are played in. Additionally
if you use a folder for a particular artist or album then you can skip
forward and backward a disk at a time as well as through tracks.

My Phillips player can even access multi session disks.

Hello listers,

I wish to create a CD containing MP3 files which can be played on a CD
player supporting MP3 format. I understand all the files need to be
in the root directory of the disc. What is the file limit? I have
Sonic RecordNow! on my laptop. Any help most appreciated. thanks in
advance.

Best wishes,

Clive Pallett
