There's a company called CeX UK who do second-hand iPhones at a reasonable
price, and all their phones come with a two year guarantee. Their website
isn't great for accessibility, but this page has a search on that gives you

The Apple Stores offer refurbished phones, but it obviously depends on your
budget. I believe they replace the battery and give some sort of guarantee
as well.
