Hi Steve
Is it as straightforward as that? Would the books have to be rebuilt to avoid
duplication of file names?

Hi Ian,

I agree.  The simplest way would be for RNIB to zip books up in one zip file,
however long they are.  They no longer have a CD size limit for downloads.

All the best

hello Mary
You have encountered the dreaded Long Book problem. What you need to do is
download the book, unzip the zip file, zip up the folders it contains, add them
to something like Dropbox and add them to an app such as VoiceDream Reader.
This is an issue which was known since the service was being tested.

It's all very well for RNIB to say that this only affects a small number of
books when compared with the overall total. However, I think that we should not
have to be concerned about the size of the book when we download it.
