Dario,

I should have checked before sending the message below. If you say "caps on
before the word then only the first letter is capitalized. If you don't say
"caps off" before the next word all subsequent words will have the first
letter in capitals too.

Best wishes

Robert

Dario,

I've found that Siri seems to recognize "all caps" meaning that the
following word is all in capitals but I, like you,  haven't found a way to
capitalize just the first letter of a word that is not at the beginning of a
sentence or recognized by Siri as a proper noun.

Hi Steve.

I've now tried this, and no joy I'm afraid. It adds the word capital to the
text just as it did with caps/!

Hi Darrren,

I don't know the answer, but have you tried saying Capital instead of Cap
or
Caps?

All the best

Steve

Subject: [access-uk] iOS Dictation and Capital Letters

Could someone please tell me how to obtain capital letters when dictating
to
Siri?

I've had a look on the web, but the advice to say "caps" before the word
that you want capitalized just doesn't work for me. I get the word caps
inserted and no capital letter!

An example of the kind of thing I'm trying to achieve would be a text
staying something like,

"Today in the Ludlow 3:15 I really like the chances of weavers answer."

Ludlow will be capitalized automatically as Siri obviously recognises it
as
a town in the UK, but I'd also like Weavers Answer to be capitalised.

Could someone please let me know what I'd need to say to make that
possible?

I've always just corrected after the fact, but as I'm just making work for
myself I thought its about time I tighten up my Siri dictation.

Thanks.

Darran
