Thanks for this Steve! I didn't know about the shift control q keystroke! Much better than the control q... and I always wandered why not all my tabs are showing when using control q and just the left and right arrows *smiling sheepishly*

One more thing, with the shift control q list Jaws indecates the tab that is in focus by saying checked. Very good.

Cheers,
Amro

Daran,

Ctrl + Q replaces the currently viewed page to a screen showing an array
of thumbnails of the tabs. On my screen the array shows three thumbnails
to each row, and you can use all the arrow keys to move around them.
With NVDA, I get no useful feedback about the thumbnails, so essentially
it's unusable.

Ctrl + Shift + Q gives a pop-up vertical menu of the tabs which you can
arrow up and down. NVDA reads this fine.

With both keystrokes, Enter will move to the selected tab and Escape
will return to the tab on view before the keystroke was pressed.

You can also use Control+Shift+q but I'm not sure what the difference is
between this and Control+q.

Perhaps somebody else could enlighten.

Hi List.

I've never used Tabbed Browsing in IE8 until now, so I've got a
beginners
question.

What is the keyboard shortcut to take you from the page your reading
to
the list of open tabs?

In case its relevant, I'm using JAWS 10 with IE8.

Thanks.

Darran
