Except it doesn't.  Push Email doesn't work at all well on iPhone,
especially if you have an imap account.

hi,
if you only want to get mail when opening the app, put it to manual.
push means it gets mail as soon as.

Hi all

First of all, could someone clarify that push notification will
download emails onto my iPhone when I open the email app rather than
whenever an email comes in regardless of whether or not I've got the email
app running.

Second, if this is the case, how do I set my email to push
notification only?

Thanks in anticipation.

Cheers

Barry
