Hi Steve, I thought that the accuracy depended on Dragon learning the voice of
the person using it. The audio magazines I've heard are often not narratedd by
a single person, added to which their mic technique leaves a lot to be desired.
There is also sometimes music. I'm surprised that doesn't trip it up.
As you say though it's a hammer to crack a nut.

Yes, you can plug Olympus recorders into the line input of your PC and
provided the recording is good, Dragon will convert it perfectly. But it is a
sledgehammer to crack a peanut, if that's all you're using it for.

Are you sure that would work, and work accurately? Have you ever done what
you suggest? Certainly Dragon will convert spoken word to audio, but how would
you feed the mp3 into it. I shouldn't think that would product particularly
accurate results.
