All,

I have a problem with my Victor Reader Classic in that wile playing a
talking book, it just stops reading. There's no reason for this and it just
sits there doing nothing, other than producing an odd wering sound. In
order to get it playing the talking book again, I have to switch the player
off, wait for it to go off which may take a few minutes, then switch it back
on again.

Has anyone else had the same problem? I know the talking book isn't at
fault - it's an old one I've played countless times and I've even washed it
to make sure there is no dust on it.
I've had the player for about two years from the RNIB and as far as I can
remember, have not been sent any cds to upgrade the firm wear. But this
should make a difference to the problem I'm having which recently manifest
itself.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Sayka Hussain
