Chris, you might find the following helpful. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q221190/ Unfortunately, in order to kill it completely, you need to modify the Registry. I have now been asked by a totally blind friend living on his own if I can help him sort out this problem. Unfortunately I am running Office XP and Windows XP whereas he is running Office 2000 and Windows 98. He also uses Window-Eyes and is a relatively inexperienced user. He tells me that every now and then he suddenly gets a window on the screen the title of which is "Clipboard". However, he tells me that he cannot close it by using Escape or ALT+F4. Talking him through the situation on the phone I got him to read the screen with the mouse pointer and although it spoke a number of menu items I think these were from the Word window behind the box in question. However, he said there was no trace of any button to press and using Tab or the arrow keys in the box produces silence. So, I am not sure if this is some kind of Clipboard viewer or a dialog asking him to choose from a particular clipboard. He definitely does not have any third party clipboard software. As he lives a long way away I cannot just pop round to help him so if any of you have dealt with this problem before I would greatly appreciate it if you could tell me what you did. Many thanks and a happy New Year to all.
