I am looking to sell a Plextor Daisy player PTN1 from 2007.
It’s in perfect condition and has very rarely had any use; everything works
as it should.
It is a CD player that can play normal CDs and Daisy CDs. A speech program is
built in to the Daisy player which will give the user information such as:
Track info – time elapsed, time left etc.
Disc info – number of tracks, timings etc.
System info – battery level, speech speed (which is customisable), volume etc.
The unit also detects when a Daisy CD is inserted and will give extra options
for navigating through the CD. These new options include level navigation,
and the ability to bookmark a place in the CD and jump to it whenever.
I like it because it does exactly what it says on the tin, no more and no
less. It says it’s a CD and daisy player and that’s what it does. No fancy
features that will confuse you – just a very easy to use and portable CD
player.
The buttons are large and positioned in sensible places and there is always
an audible indication of when something is pressed.

When new, this was selling for £250 and recently on EBay, it has been sold
