Must say though, when you install google chrome it does make reading
pdfs far easier as you can use jaws' own find function on it, which I
find far better than Adobe's. It might be worth installing chrome just
for that, even if you don't want to use it as a browser.

Subject: [access-uk] PDF Readers
A friend has asked my help in getting Adobe Acrobat onto her system. When
she goes to the site to download it there is a message saying to download
Google Chrome as well. Like me she is not interested in this software. I've
advised Doxillion that I use but she does not want to pay as she uses PDF
so
very infrequently. We have both had great problems with Chrome and do not
want to repeat the experiences. Does anyone know if Chrome will install
automatically or can it be stopped and only Adobe installed
Many thanks Roger
