Hi Mike

Only my sent items folder is busy, but I do empty even that periodically.
It's just that it is a useful folder for referring back to threads. My
inbox isn't that bad, and I have all my list Emails going into different
folders with the Outlook rules. It's just the odd occasion when I'm thrown
out and everything silences, where only rebooting the machine recovers my
sanity! (smile). I haven't had the problem in Word, thankfully, or else I
would be really nervous about writing essays and the like if that kept
happening.

Kind Regards,

Jackie Cairns

Hello,

I just tried something.

Deleted all sent, deleted items and archived messages in deleted and sent
folders. It seems to be running faster, but I would need a message from
Jackie, (as I deleted all the others <smiles>!)

Perhaps a case of too much information?!

Regards,

Mike
