Hi Aleksandra.
RNIB is hoping to launch a braille book range one can download and put onto the
orbit, you can also get books from other sources such as the National Braille
Press, Book share etc. There is a free braille translation tool called Send to
Braille:
https://tech.aph.org/lt/
which can create a Braille file, formatted in UEB from any supported file type,
however this is a simplified (quick and dirty) translation. For more custom
Braille file creation and translation, you will need a tool such as Braille
Maker or Duxbury.
All the best, Ibrahim.

Oh, gosh, well, that is rather complicated.
Thank you so much for the information!

The Orbit Reader does not have an internal translation process; you
need to load preformatted books in the format of your choice to the
device using the SD card. The Orbit reader will display formatting
exactly as it is rendered in the file you are reading or editing and
will not provide any back translation. The manual has suggestions of
suitable third-party translation tools you can run on your PC to convert
files.
All the best, Ibrahim.

Hi all,
does anyone know can I change braille translation tables in Orbit Reader?
When using a braille display together with Jaws this is easy to
achieve, but I am confused how it works if there is no intermediary
such as Jaws. Any info will be highly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Aleksandra

Hallo,
I have a new Orbit reader 20, but after I have made a new folder, and
try to leave. I first save the folder by space bar S, but then I find
that I cannot get back to the main menu. So if anyone can tell me how
to get back to the menu, I would be very glad!!!
