Hi jackie,
If you have Office 365, then you may have OneDrive desktop app installed. I
don't think you will though, since you went back to Office 2013.
All the best
Steve

I'm not using an app Kevin, just clicking on a link that has been shared with
me via Outlook.

Jacky, what AV do you use?

It is probably best answered by those who have experience of both. I use
Dropbox for files and folders I need to share with other people, and this
works really well for me, especially as I have a 1tb subscription. I had
hoped OneDrive would be as accessible, but it just isn't, least not for me.
As they are both Cloud-based, I fail to see why there would be more security
risk for one over the other, but I am not an expert at Cloud storage anyway.

Hi all.
Is the security difference enough to justify recommending 1Drive vs. Dropbox?
I haven’t tried 1Drive yet but it sounds as though accessibility is a problem.

Hi Kevin
Join the club, sorry to hear that.
I have been sent a link that takes me to the various Tech Talk
folders I need to access. But it is very fiddly to navigate the
page, and I had hoped it would be possible for me to access files and
folders in the same way I can using Dropbox. I have a OneDrive
folder on my system which contains a blank Documents folder that
appears to have been put there by default. I cannot find a way of
using the link Steven Scott provided to allow me to share his
material on my PC. The web page interface is really horrible to work with,
marginally better with NVDA than with JAWS, but still horrible!
If you have any suggestions, please feel free to drop me a line off
list if others here aren't interested in this thread.

one drive is fine what seems to be the trouble. sorry if I am not
understanding have a bad back and in quite a bit of pain so try again
maybe off list and I will see if I can help. I like one drive more
than drop box.

Has anyone used OneDrive? I have signed in, and followed a linkthat you need to pay for after a certain limit?
Steven Scott has sent me so I can access Tech Talk. I have a folder
on my PC called OneDrive with a Documents folder inside it that has
been put there by default. But I can't work out how to link the
material I need to that OneDrive folder. I use Dropbox successfully
this way, but RNIB, in its infinite wisdom, has decided that we
should be using OneDrive instead. The web page though isn't great
with either JAWS or NVDA, so am wondering how others have found it.
RNIB thinks OneDrive is more secure, though I am puzzled by this as
they are all Cloud-based services. Also, is there a storage limit
on OneDrive
