I still think that the most important changes for many people with JAWS happened I think with the release of JAWS 6. I'm talking about changes seen from a user perspective here rather than equally necessary changes that may go on to improve stability etc. internet Explorer navigation keys have been vastly improved and I would advise you to learn some of them. insert h while in internet explorer will give you a list of them. support for Office 2003 is also a very relevant issue here as well for some. support for later versions of MSN Messenger may also affect you. Ok, just installed JAWS 8 on my home PC after having had only jaws 5.1 for a long long time. Am sitting back now wondering how to take it for a test drive. C'mon now people, give me some ideas. What should I upgrade or download, or do with it? Should I go and get Internet Explorer 7? Certainly I'm off to get Firefox in a short while. Anything else? And then I can do RSS feeds within IE7 or Firefox, yes? Which is better? Your testamonials welcome. Any other gizmos for me to go and get?
