Maybe he has an alarm set and turning the phone off would stop the alarm from working.

This sounds sort of simple. But, why not just turn off your phone at night?

hi guys, Long time since i posted, but here goes.
I'm having an annoying Issue with my iphone4.
The Issue is during the night.
My wife is being disturbed by the Notification alert sound. It keeps annoumcomg alerts from such as facebook ETC in the middle of the night.

Is there a way i can either silence or turn off the alert sound at this particular time of the night?.
Any help in this matter, would be apreciated indeed, Billy
