Hi Martin,

So long as he is aware.  He will also possibly run into difficulties with
the warranty if he ever needs to invoke it.  Just mentioning that as some
people can be quite particular about this.

Would you mind possibly posting the link to the download site for the
firmware files?  It may help others in a similar situation later.

Thanks for the info. I've sourced a site for the flashing files 
thanks. This is for a friend who needs to revert back to a previous 
version, I've warned him about this but he has no choice (or so he 
says). Firmware can be forced using the Phoenix service software 
suite so he is going to have a go.
