Ah yes! Kevin is right here, when I got my free Orange bill in Braille, it was
just the summary and not the full break down, I had forgotten that, it was a
couple of years ago now, so had slipped my mind! Mind you, so do things from
yesterday <smile> -

hi peter, orange only charge for bills print or otherwise if you want the
itemised bill. the standard summary of charges bill is free. also so far as im'
aware, the cost for the itemised bill is the same for both print and braille. i
check mine online, so don't quote me on that one! :)

    Peter

Yes I believe they would be but I am not convinced that the Orange customer
Service person gave me the correct information. Though I pointed this out at
the time, it is something I would only press when on the point of entering into
a contract.

By charging you more for Braille bills, aren't they falling fowl of the
DDA?

Peter - Firstly, when I had an Orange contract, I got my bills in
Braille for no extra charge. Secondly, If you were to buy your phone from an
online seller rather than the major cell providers, you might find they will
offer a contract on something other than Orange, but if you just look at the
website for say O2, T-Mobile etc, you'll not find them offering it on contract!

          Hello

Have been trying to find outlets for either buying or obtaining on
contract the N82 with limited success. I understand that the in built GPS
receiver works well and so it would be a good choice to use with Wayfinder
Access.

I havve only found Orange who provide it on contract and when I asked
about braille bills they said they charge £3 per bill whereas print billes are
charged at £1.50.

I am confused as to whether the lack of availability is because it is
an old phone or a new phone. It was launched in Nov 2008 according to an
article I found.

Has anybody any comments about the Orange customer service etc.
Furthermore does anybody know of other providers who offer the N82 on contract?

          Many thanks.

          Peter Bentley
