Denis,Many thanks, I contacted Nokia concerning the phone and they had me try to perform the soft reset, *#7780#, but it would not do so; so they concluded that there is a fault with the phone.
It makes you wonder how much of a bench test is given to equipment to pass QC before leaving the factory? If any at all?!!
