Hi Mark

When you create the rule, there is a tick box in there somewhere that allows
you to have a sound played for incoming activity for that folder.

Kind Regards,

Subject: [access-uk] New email sound

Hi, When I get a message from a person or group that I have not set a rule
for it to go into a folder so it stays in the inbox I get a new message
sound.

If I get a new message from a person or group that has a rule to put it into
a folder I don't get a new message sound.

How can I set outlook 2016 to play a sound regardless of what folder
receives the new message?

Many thanks

Mark Brett
