Hi Chris,

Why didn't you use the Data Transfer tool?  It is much more effective.  The
proble with keeping contacts on the Sim card is if you have more than one
phone number per contact, they get split up into several contacts, and the
whole thing is a mess.  I don't recommend using the Sim for contacts at all.

Hi Alex, I recommend you copy the contacts onto your sim card. This way, the
sim can be used on your new phone, provided it's either on the same network
or is sim free, thus the contacts can be copied to your new phone. I had to
do this today, and haven't lost any as a result (I would have lost them all
had I had not copied them to the sim card). Hope that helps.
