Hi Douglas, Thank you for the advice. Carol does not have a yahoo ID.I am going to change my settings to the more modern stile of message and see if I get the same problem. If I do then I will know to change us both back, although I am not sure if the e-mail suggestion you made about XXX-traditional@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx will work in this case since the list concerned, although it is yahoo, is one that ends yahoo.co.uk.
