Hi Jake

The Polaris appears to have reasonable hardware.  However, it is layered
with proprietary software in the Hims suite of applications integrated with
Android 5.1.  The new Polaris Mini is about to emerge with the same hardware
and software, so it will be interesting to see how it develops and whether
it is stable enough going forward.

Kind regards,

Jackie Brown

Many thanks Jackie, so much about the braille sense I like; my fear about
the Polaris is that it might become obsolete.
Thanks again,
Jake

Hi Jake

I'm afraid the U2 is exactly the same as its predecessor on the web, it's
total rubbish for want of a better word.  I don't know whether Polaris is
any better, I'd like to think so!

What you need to remember with the U2 and anything before it is that the
web
browser is an old version of Internet Explorer, and this is why most sites
no longer work with it.  I believe Polaris uses Chrome.

Is the Braille sense U2 any better on the Internet than the Plus?
Of late most web sites just don't work or "cloud flare" asks me to do
something impossible!!
Help!!
