You're right Sunil. Code Factory has a mobile magnifier. Please visit

HTH,
Isn't there some software you install on a standard mobile that enlarges the
text on the screen? Can't remember the name but InTouch featured it.

Subject: [access-uk] Re: Mobiles & Large Font
Hi Sam and everyone,
Sam, I went through this one about a year ago and found it very difficult to identify a phone that would meet my needs. I wanted to be able to use a standard phone, but I needed to be able to read the screen. I went round a lot of phone shops and found little or no interest in them supplying anything other than the standard models. However, I found a very helpful guy in The Link here in Worcester, who spent a good hour with me, going through several possible phones; he really seemed to understand that I had some vision which I wanted to use as much as possible.
The phone we eventually found was the Samsung D410, which I think is no longer available. This phone has a relatively large screen and it is possible to set a large font size when writing text messages. Unfortunately, Samsung haven't got it quite right with this model, since you cannot set the larger font as the default and you cannot use it for menu and similar purposes. When you dial a number, it is displayed in very big characters. Although menus and the like are nod in particularly large characters, the display is very clear and there is excellent contrast. I read with a COIL magnifier and have no difficulty whatsoever with this phone.
I don't use the phonebook, organizer or other features, so am not worried about how those are presented. I do sometimes take pictures with the phone and can get some excellent results doing that.
As I said, the D410 is no longer available. However, there are some later D models, so it could be worth taking a look at them to see whether they have addressed any of the shortcomings mentioned above.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Brendan.
