Hi Jim,

Please disregard my previous message.

After sending it, I tried to reproduce the process on another PC but failed.

I discovered the correct name of the program to run was appwiz.cpl rather than
apwhiz.cpl, but wasn't able to install the Document Scanning feature.

Apologies,

Ed

  Hi Jim,

It's a while since I did this, but I think you have to go to run and type
apwhiz.cpl

You will then need to use either the JAWS cursor or the mouse cursor if
you're using Window-Eyes, and you either need to click on run all or install
all, I'm afraid I can't remember what it's called.

Microsoft Office Document Scanning should then be installed, and you will
find it under Microsoft Office Tools in the Programs Menu.

  Hope this helps.

  Edward

    Hi list,

I recently purchased a laptop that came with ms office 2007. With my last
ms office 2003, their was ms scanning software, but no such program with 2007,
have I missed something here and is it hidden somewhere within ms office 2007?
or have they done away with it? any advice welcomed.

    Jim.
