I agree Tris, I think it was a big mistake for Apple to just blow Google
away like that. Google is king when it comes to maps.

Apple have blown Google Maps away in IOS6 for their own effort. You can go
to maps.google.com in Safari but it is nowhere near as elegant a solution.
I don't like Appls's maps effort particularly and would swap street view any
day of the week to Hollywood style flyover feature.
