I echo what Paul said really.

If you’re happy with the version you’re using, and more importantly if you’re
still getting definition updates, then you could carry on using it. However,
the latest version is usable without extreme additional hassle to worry about.
Like I said, it’s certainly a step in the right direction! Smile.

I’d be happy to assist further should you require it. HTH.

The latest version is mostly accessible. You will be able to run a scan, pause
or cancel it by tabbing to buttons. As is usual with these kinds of
applications, the status information during a scan has to be accessed by
special navigation modes such as the Jaws cursor or the review cursor in NVDA.
Otherwise, there's not much fiddling about to do.

Mark, are you suggesting that I hold off updating for now until it is fully
accessible? I don’t want a program that takes a lot of fiddling around with to
get it to work.

Well certainly it’s not what one would yet call “fully accessible”, there
are still a few issues (notably with the tables for scheduling activity), and a
few other things. However 2.0.3.1025 is certainly a step in the right
direction, and you can now TAB to the various buttons. Interestingly enough
though, when invoking your screen reader’s “Mouse Mode” feature, only the
window’s title still seems to be reported.

I was going to mail the list to report the latest status, however events took
over and I didn’t get round to it.

  Hi List Members,

Is Malware bites accessible yet? If not what are people using in place of
Malware bites?
  Thanks for any suggestions.
