James,

Many thanks for providing us with this information. It's what I need for a
meeting next week and some of the documents listed are very useful examples.

Steve

Subject: [access-uk] Making the web accessible.

Hi all,
This is a bit off topic, but we all use the web and there have been podcasts
made about things we need to download from the web.

At one time or another, we have probably been to a web page which was quite
inaccessible with screen readers. The link below would be a nice one for
people to have if they have any question at all as to why an accessible web
is important. This link also links to other important documents that talk
about how to make the web accessible. Forward this to as many people or
companies as you know who might be willing to read it and forward it to
other people. If we spread the word, perhaps the web will become easier to
navigate.
