  Subject: [access-uk] Learning programming

  Hi guys,
A few months ago I'd asked about where I could learn programming and someone
recommended blindprogramming.com. Now I've found another site which teaches you
how to program in Python as an absolute beginner. You can also download a
zipped version of the tutorial. I'm starting it now, from what I've read so
far, it really seems a friendly, relaxed and great intro to programming, really
assuming no prior knowledge, believe me, if I'm still understanding it, I'm
sure noone else should have any problems. The site is at
  http://www.freenetpages.co.uk/hp/alan.gauld/
The Python software is free, but instead of downloading from the original
site, I downloaded a copy of Active Python from
  www.activestate.com
  Enjoy!
  Ari
