Hi richard - afraid I haven't done this - just collected emails straight to the phone and send via exchange if in the office (through wireless), via smtp via my home provider ifI'm at home again via wireless network, or via three through 3g if out and about. I understand that using the phone as a modem is possible but that 3 don't like you doing this as they consider it unfare network usage so they might or might not tell you the appropriate settings. However with the introduction of their tenner a month unlimited data package it's certainly something to get sorted. I use that network, and should like to collect e-mails using the phone as a modem. Have you done this? If so could you advise on the settings to put in when setting up?
