Yes this is correct on the model we have. The two tuners mean that you can
use either Freeview or FreeSat, but you can't record on one while watching
another. I seem to recall explaining this when I first posted the details
of our TV to the list. If you want two tuners that will allow you to watch
one while recording on another, I would suggest the price could be much
higher. It isn't an issue for us, but I understand it might be for those
who record a lot on multiple channels.

freeview tuners to allow me to record one channel and watch tanother, this
is not so. When recording and trying to change channels a message pops up
saying I will have to stop recording to change channels

No, on the specs page in the table it lists 'number of freeview tuners
is 2 I made quite sure of this with the staff at Richersounds they
researched this for me and found the model in question.Doesn't matter
now though as it has been scheduled for return.

it's possible the other tv's you have in mind might be refering to
the same situation.
