They have, but there are some connectivity bugs still outstanding.

All the best

I thought they had fixed the Braille bug in Kindle with the latest IOS
update. Is that not the case? I haven't updated IOS due to this bug yet.

Hi David,

Kindle on macOS is useless. It's one of the reasons I now maintain a Windows
machine. Kindle for PC is a real joy with a braille display. Ironically
Kindle on iOS works great (or at least it did before the braille bug). I
have managed to get the Kindle Fire working with a braille display after a
little bit of a faff.

Subject: [access-uk] Kindal

today I tried to read a book on my iMac using Voice Over and my Braillaint
BI 32, but for some reason I was not able to even open the book which was
highlighted. Even my wife who is sighted could not open a book for me to
read, though she could see the book on the screen.

so for now I have given up, as it seems to me that Kindel does not work on a
iMac when one cannot see!!!
I wonder if anyone on this list has managed to get Kindel to work on there
iMac?
