Hi darren, thanks but have tried this without success. Have written to both
Thomson and Thomas cook but still await a reply, such a pity when much else of
their content is accessible, thanks for taking the time to search and respond!

Alistair, a quick Google search through up the following page which may be of
some use:

Subject: [access-uk] Java and web sites

Hi folks, for some time been trying to access the search facility on both the
Thomas cook and the Thomson holidays web sites, without success! However have
just noticed that I need java enabled to access some aspects/elements of the
search fields, so how do I find out if I have java enabled? I looked in my list
of programmes and yes it is there but unresponsive,i.e. when I click on
configure java nothing happens! so I looked in Internet options/advanced
settings but could not find it there either, any thoughts how I find out if it
is already running or how I can enable it?

  Thanks so much!

  Alistair
