Andy, there is an Acapela demo here, but as it refuses to work with NVDA, I
can't exactly get excited about it. I got it to work by sight, but not via
screen reader.

http://www.acapela-group.com/text-to-speech-interactive-demo.html

It's a bit perverse to make an inaccessible site to promote text-to-speech
voices isn't it!?

Must say I wasn't very impressed by the voices when I finally got them to work.
To me, they don't sound a patch on Realspeak or Ivona, but of course each to
their own.

Vince.

Just had a listne to the Americanh English Acapela voice, Heather [couldn't
find any others to listen to. Didn't find her as pleasant as the Ivona voices,
but like I say, hers was the only voice I could find -

    Hi,

They don't. They clip all over the place at high speed, which is why I
prefer Nuance for the Human-sounding speech. Actually Acapela are the best in
my view, but the most expensive.

    All the best

    Hi all -

Does anybody actually use the Ivona English voices regularly? How well do
they perform if speeded up? I'm use to using JAWS with Eloquence at a faster
rate [not a lot faster] and would want to ratchet up Brian or Amy a bit -
