I also think that if you go in to an Apple store, they can offer a similar service, best to call them first -

my guess it is simply their shops that can do this, it was seamless though and did not cut down input fields as with sim transfer!

provider to ask  them to transfer my number across to
the vodaphone micro sim, I've got, the contact should be

Backing them up on the sim is the quickest way. Yes they
get a bit mixed up but they're mostly ok and the rest
guessable. You can edit them over time so they're as you
want them.
It'd be nice to know a better and more complete way of
doing this.

In a previous Email, I said funnily enough that the Area
Manager yesterday told me you have to type them all in
and that you can't import them.  Blimey I hope he was
misinformed, kidding or talking out of his bum!! I have
a lot of contacts in my N86 that will need to go over,
and I don't back them up on the SIM card as they become
truncated.
