Thanks Steve, I completely forgot about the Talks Key 2 toggle. It's the heat...that's my excuse anyway, and I'm sticking to it! Grins. Hi Graham, There is also a very slight issue with performance. Talks seems to be just that bit snappier if installed direct to the phone. I suppose I do not quite think of these devices as products I would yet quite use for mp3 playback and the like and they certainly do have plenty of RAM. I would think though that if you do not want to use multiple cards you would be better installing on the memory card because you have to worry less about backup. Hi Graham, Just for another perspective, with the newer phones, such as the 6630 and 6680, you can easily put Talks in phone memory, rather than on the card. This has the advantage that you can use multiple memory cards, without having to have Talks installed on all of them. So whilst you absolutely must do it to the memory card on the 3650, 3660, N-Gage, 6600 etc, it is not so important with the newer phones. Not only that, if you back up your phone regularly, it doesn't matter if you format it anyway. All the best -- Computer Room Services: the long cane for blind computer users. If something happens to the phone and it needs reformatting or whatever you still have the software on the card. Hi Folks, I have a Nokia 9300 communicator phone. Can anyone advise me if it is best to install the talks on the phone or is it better to install the Talks on to the memory card. The memory card is a 256MB card. Thanking you all in advance.
