Hi Alistair

Uninstall AVG if you want to run MSE. It is a proper antivirus program and
is pretty good I have to say. As George once said, Microsoft can't really
afford to cock up their own antivirus software can they?

Kind Regards,

Hi Ibrahim, hope damon doesn't mind me asking but is security essentials a
addition to already running anti-virus such as AVG or is this a stand alone
programme which protects the pc without any additional software? I have had
a brief look at the info and downloaded the programme but not as yet
installed it.

thanks

alistair
