Hi Tony

I've been using Windows 10 and its various iterations for a while and really
like it.  Use some of the shortcuts to get you to places you might need at
some point:

Windows with I takes you into Settings.
Windows with A takes you to Notifications.
Windows with B brings up the System Tray.
Windows with E drops you into File Explorer.
Windows with X then up twice takes you to the Shut Down menu unless you just
Alt F4 from the Desktop to bring up the same menu.

Give us a shout if you need any help.  I often go the long way round for a
shortcut, but sometimes this pays because you get to know where different
features are.

Kind regards,

Jackie Brown

Subject: [access-uk] Info for Windows 10 please

Hi folk,

Have yesterday got a present of a Windows 10 Asus netbook and I'll be using
NVDA or Jaws with it and wonder if there are any tips or tricks as they say
that I need to know for Windows 10?

I know about the usual sources of info but I'm asking this from a screen
reader user perspective upgrading from Windows 7.

For example how do folk find Edge or anything else you wish to share re
#Windows 10 that would make the change easier for one.

assist with this appreciated.

Tony Sweeney.
