Interesting. I had the same a couple of days ago. I scanned the computer
with everything I have, AVG8, Spybot, etc and didn't find any reason. I
disabled all IE add ons related to AVG, with no effect. I then took two
steps at the same time, so not sure which worked. I unplugged my BT Voyager
210 and plugged it back in again, and I uninstalled and then reinstalled
AVG. I've noticed an incredible change in performance since doing this, but
reinstalling AVG did not reenable all the add ons. I've just looked at my
add ons, and most are still disabled, so I need to test each one to see
where the problem is. It's worth going into Tools, Manage Add Ons, Enable or
Disable Add Ons, and checking what you have running.

Cheers
Dave

Subject: [access-uk] Ie 7 not opening all websites

Hi

Can you please suggest reasons why ie7 has started to fail
to open several web pages. I get a message saying that ie
was unable to open the web page and gives the option to
diagnose the problem. On one occasion I ran the diagnose
problem tool and it told me that there was a connectivity
problem. However, this morning I went into mp3 city ok, but
when I opened up ie itself and I have google set as my home
page, I had to sign in to my account but when I tried to
bring up the google sign in page I got the message as above.
I use webie and I managed to bring up the google page ok in
that browser, strange!! Why is this happening?

Regards

Adrien
