yes, you can do this. If you subsequently lost your music, you would simply
copy the music into your iTunes library and then use the add folder command to
create your library again.

Trace - Yes i do know...upgrading will NOT delete your library! I guess you
could export your library first, and then import it, but I've never done that -

think i'm using version 11.1 and it works very well with nvda, i keep
getting asked if i want to upgrade to 11.2 but i'm wary to in case it manages
to erase my music library which has taken me ages to get together from my cd's
and i'm not actually finished yet, i know you'll all tell me it won't delete it
all but you never know lol

Ibrahim - he doesn't want the latest version, he wants something newer
than 10.1, but not as new as version 11. Don't know why, 11's great! -

        Hi Steve.

You can get ITunes 11 from www.itunes.comm, otherwise you can use the
Apple Software Update tool that was included with your 10.1 version to upgrade
to the latest version.

        All the best, Ibrahim.

        Hi All,

I’ve recently bought an iPad Mini. When I put it on my pc, there was a
message saying that it needed to be used with iTunes, at least version 10.7.
I’m using 10.1 or something. I’ve looked online but can’t find a copy anywhere.

Could anyone drop box me a version later than 10.1? I don’t want to
put on version 11.

        Cheers

        Steve
